The Honey House is charmingly infused with the character of its former life when honey extraction took place, and is decorated with original artworks. It is a rustic building clad with oiled redwood, and set amongst idyllic gardens and beautiful countryside. It has private courtyard gardens and sunny deck, ample secure parking, great views and lots of sun in our secluded valley close to the city.
The Honey House is made up of the Nectary B&B and The Lodge (see below). Both are self–contained, well appointed, each with its own bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, private telephone, TV and DVD–player.
The Nectary Bed & Breakfast
The Nectary is a spacious and light studio Bed & Breakfast. Guests are provided with a gourmet breakfast and have the added benefit of being able to cook in their own well–appointed kitchen.
The gourmet breakfasts are created mostly from food grown organically on the farm and water comes from our pure valley spring. Breakfasts are comprised of homemade muesli, bread, cream, yoghurt, croissants, fresh fruits, berries & nuts, spreads and other scrumptious delicacies.
The Nectary comfortably sleeps 2 people in a queen bed with bathroom ensuite.
The Lodge is decorated in a similar artistic style to the Nectary. It is more spacious, having two bedrooms and a larger kitchen/lounge with log–burning fire, thus creating a warm country ambience.
The Lodge sleeps 4 people in its two bedrooms. Extra guests can also be accommodated.
Lodge guests also have a fully appointed kitchen and bathroom, plus their own washing machine.
Our gourmet breakfast can be provided for Lodge guests if requested before your stay. $15 per person.
